About
Hugo is a photographer and expert in digital capture. Driven by a cinematic artistic vision and an uncompromising technical standard, he crafts visual worlds where storytelling, distinct atmosphere, and precise composition converge.
This visual maturity is rooted in over 15 years of experience within the industry’s most demanding production environments. Starting as a digital operator and later serving as a Digital Manager at Studio Rouchon, Hugo has supported iconic brands, such as Cartier, Chanel, Dior, Hermès, LVMH, Vogue, and Harper’s Bazaar, at the highest level. His dual background, spanning both the film set and the digital workflow, grants him complete mastery over the creative process, from the initial shoot through to post-production.
Today, he applies this strategic expertise and his unique artistic perspective to his own photographic projects, while continuing to work as a consultant and digital operator for high-profile campaigns.
At the core of his practice, traditional photography blends with generative technologies to bring a boundless vision to life.
Unconstrained by the logistical and budgetary demands that might otherwise require traveling to Iceland or the Moroccan desert just for a test shoot, Hugo treats artificial intelligence as a playground for experimentation, much like the transition from analog to digital once transformed photography and video.
By hybridizing live-action capture with contemporary tools, he prioritizes the creative outcome over the medium itself, thereby extending the history of photography into the present era.
_________
